We are searching for an adaptable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and fast-learning person to join our dedicated team.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
assisting with egg handling, day-old chick shipping, cleaning pens, feeding animals, landscape maintenance, general labor, collecting eggs, and other technical skills associated with farm life and livestock.
Your time will primarily be spent outdoors.
You need to be in good physical shape with the ability to lift 50 lbs and be able to work independently.
Perferably, you should have previous experience working outdoors.
Basic knowledge of and skill with common hand tools and power equipment are required, as is reliable transportation, and good work history.
We are willing to train but previous experience will boost your chance of an interview.
We're about a 15-minute drive west from FSU.
Current pay will start at $16/hour.
We may have you work a paid trial day before making a decision.
We will run a background check so do not apply if that will cause an issue.
Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7 am to 3 pm.
The lunch break is 30 minutes.
You will also be responsible for 1 weekend shift on a rotional basis with the other farm workers.
The weekend shifts normally take about 3 hours on both Saturday and Sunday to do basic farm chores.
