We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounting person to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience with accounting software.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Experience with Quickbooks and Excel.
Will train the right person.
Familiar with all areas of accounts payable.
Proficency in English and MS Office.
High degree of accurary and attention to detail.
Can detect inaccuracies and abnormal activity.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable experience.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the Finance Manager.
Daily enter data of financial transactions in database.
A self-starter, research accounting or documentation discrepancies.
Provide assistance and support to company management.
Skills:
Strong attentional to detail Have a knack for numbers as well as consistantly maintaining a database Strong attention to detail and accuracy is key to success in this role.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are needed to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers/customers of the company.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a must, while still being able to follow instructions from your supervisor or manager when needed.
